Day 130 Friday 25th February 2011

07.35 We wake up pretty early and go for a swim in the hotel pool. Its an amazing view, the pool edge overlooks the forest and me and Char have a moment…can’t believe how lucky we are to be where we are and where our lives are at the monent with where we’re living etc. Bad things happen but the world is a beautiful place…

09.22 Breakfast is gorgeous. We have it outside in the garden terrace and have smoked salmon and poached eggs and banana bread and strawberries. Yum!

12.01 We take a walk up to the markets and I buy a Rolling Stones guitar ornament and Char buys some shoes and sunglasses. I then find a really cool Japanese-esq shop and buy some zip and peg earrings! Cool!

14.31 We have a pedicure and manicure which is so relaxing and very very ceap. About ten pounds for a deluxe spa manicure and pedicure!

18.05 We go to dinner at the art cafe which is gorgeous. Very shoreditch, lots of candles everywhere and very chilled out. We stuff our faces with a 3 course meal. In love with the pumpkin soup out here! In bed by 8pm again!!

Day 129 Thursday 24th February 2011

07.32 Simon calls a few times to make sure we get up for our flight. We slept through our alarm so its a good job he called! Feel so hungover!

08.45 We head to the airport and speak to Kelvin along the way which is good to speak to him although I’m very sad how the funeral turned out :(

14.23 The flight wasn’t too bad and we get a private transfer with our guide Jonathan to the hotel. The hotel is so so beautiful!!! http://www.komaneka.com/ Its a spa resort and the room has an amazing view and a huge bath with a head rest and a four poster bed. We get very excited and start jumping around! haha.

16.01 We go for a walk around Ubud. We’re in a quiet town near Monkey Forest. Its definitely not party central but we wanted a few days chill out time so its all good. We’re staying in the moutains so its a bit cloudy and not really sunbathing weather today. We have dinner in a lovely restaurant and then have a full body massage at our hotel which is so relaxing. Lottie falls asleep during it and starts snoring! haha. We end up goig to bed at 8pm and falling straight sleep! Rock n roll!

Day 128 Wednesday 23rd February 2011

12.35 Today is gonna be really tough. Its my nan’s funeral today and I can’t think of anything else. My boss gives me half the day off which is good. I buy Charlotte some cupcakes for her and the girls at work and a coffee because she was really tired this morning and take them over to her at work. A part thank you for everything she is doing for me. She is so grateful when I turn up, its cute :) I then treat myself to 2 pairs of plimies - one black and one white pair. Sounds silly but its the first piece of clothing I’ve been able to buy in the past 4 months so it feels really good to start having money again. The last few months have been very tough financially….

18.05 Go and meet Morena and we go to hers so that she can cut my hair for me and she does a great job for free! We both then head over to North Bondi RSL to have dinner with Lewis, Danny and Simon. Turns out I need to say my last goodbyes to Lewis yet again!! He’s had about 50 goodbyes from me already bless him! We have a few beers and its definitely the last time I’ll see Lewis which is really sad :(

22.12 Go back home to meet Lottie and me and her head to side bar. We wanted to kick start our holiday off and thought side bar would be the place as we had such a great holiday here with Kelvin. Its our first time back here together since my holiday so we’re very excited. I also want to get very very drunk as not coping very well with Nan’s funeral today. We dance all night, the music is great and we have about 10 shots!! Very worried about missing our flight tomz!

Day 127 Tuesday 22nd February 2011

21.12 After work I end up packing all of my stuff for the holiday and chilled at Charlotte’s. Feels good to be organised for once!

Day 126 Monday 21st Februray 2011

22.25 Even though its a bit grotty I love staying at Char’s as I sleep so much better when someone is there. Had a good ten hours sleep last night . Lottie went on a date and came back all excited. So glad it went well and lovely to see her happy :)

Day 125 Sunday 20th February 2011

09.27 Despite having 4 hours sleep I feel so refreshed getting up. Must be the no drinking last night. Working at Charlotte’s work in the city and they make me feel very welcome. Receive an email from mum which even though is sad content makes me smile to hear from her :)

Day 124 Saturday 19th February 2011

06.25 Up early and finish packing. Leave Beach Road for the last time and thought I’d be more sad than I am but I’m not. I guess I’m just excited about getting mine and Charlotte’s place.

07.45 Working for C2M Health at Randwick University today. We’re helping coordinate the meetings for the doctors training, so it is good to see it all hands on.

13.00 Arrive at work at Laserclinics….god it feels like a long day already! So tired.

20.37 Head over to Damo’s house with Charlotte which is just off Oxford Street for drinks with the Essex boys - Lewis, Damo and Danny as Tom has given me the night off from work. Those boys are just so funny!! I miss London guys and the Essex/East London humour!!! Meet Wendy one of Charlotte’s good friends and she has a chauffer so he takes us to Kings Cross. We go to Melt and dance the night away. http://www.meltbar.com.au/blog/ I’m a bit sad to say goodbye to Lewis though as its gonna be the last time I see him as he’s moving back to Essex soon :(

Day 123 Friday 18th February 2011

15.35 Tom Shakir calls me to see if I want free guestlist to go and see Sasha tonight. Haven’t got any money but decide to go and not drink. Char heads over to Beach Road to help me move, then we take the majority of my stuff to hers. Being in Surry Hills at night makes me feel like I”m living back in London. Its very Shoreditch and will feel very strange living in the city again and not having the beach lifestyle.

22.05 We head to the forum at Moore Park http://www.forumsydney.com.au/getting-to-the-forum/ and meet up with James and his best mate Matt who is from Sheffield. Also meet up with Paul Duffy, Graeme, Murry (Joe’s mates from Glasgow who are wicked) Marion/Pete and have a good old dance! Feels good to be out and not drinking!

Day 122 Thursday 17th February 2011

20.15 Charlotte heads over to mine after work to get some stuff sorted online as its our last chance before I move. We head down to meet Lewis for drinks at Bondi FM. Its such a cool bar! Didn’t notice on Xmas day when I was here with Maz but its got a teepee in the garden area which you can sit in and have drinks. So cool. I have 2 pints and I’m drunk…this no drinking thing is turning me in to a lightweight! Good to see Lewis as always. He has the best stories!

Day 121 Wednesday 16th February 2011

18.00 Charlotte meets me at St Marys Cathedral in the city after work for Nan’s memorial. http://www.stmaryscathedral.org.au/ Been very sad all day about it but wanted to do something as my goodbye here as can’t make the funeral. It is so beaituful inside and I’m so happy Charlotte is at my side otherwise I would have completely lost it. I did cry all the way through mass though, I bet everyone thought I was very strange!! The choir was breath taking and it just felt really good to be in a safe environment and let it all out. We both lit a candle for nan at the end and I said my goodbyes.
